Mrs. Laura Mae Achenbach, 75, of 232 N. St. Cloud St., Allentown, died at 2:10 p.m. yesterday at her home. She had been ill six months. Mrs. Achenbach was the widow of Enos D. Achenbach, who died in 1923. Born in Flicksville, Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Boston and Sarah H. Shook Ruch. She resided in Allentown for 38 years. Mrs. Achenbach was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown, and the English Bible class of the church. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Helen A. Snyder of East Greenville College, N.C.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1610 Hamilton St., Allentown.
