    Nellie was born August 6, 1939 in Lexington, Kentucky a daughter of William and Dora Lee (West) Million. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 29 years, coming from Marion, IN. Nellie was also a member of the Oakland Drive Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Million. On May 29, 1965, she was united in marriage to Ronnie J. Wimmer who survives. Also surviving, 3 daughters, Missie (Lyle, Jr.) Garrison, Jr. of Brandon, FL, Marcia (Scott) Mehl of Coon Rapids, MN, and Melody (Brent) Duholke of Ruskin, FL; 8 grandchildren; a brother, Ernest "Morton" Million of Danville, KY; a sister, Helen Arvin of Berea, KY; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday. Private interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion, IN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the World Gospel Mission or the Oakland Drive Christian Church.

    STANFORD — William Gardner Million Sr., 92, of Stanford died Saturday at his home.

    Born Feb. 28, 1918, in Fleming County, Ky., he was a son of the late Ernest M. and Ethel Gardner Million. He was the widower of Dora Lee West Million; they were married Oct. 27, 1937. He was a farmer and a member of New Bethel Church of Christ.

    Survivors include a son, Ernest Morton Million of Danville; two daughters, Nellie Wimmer (Ronnie) of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Helen Arvin of Berea, Ky.; a brother, Harold Million of Springfield, Ky.; three sisters, Edna Brooks and Blanch Merryman, both of Lexington, and Beulah Kelly of Owenton, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, William G. Million Jr.; two brothers; and five sisters.

    The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Scott Vifquain will officiate the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lexington.

    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Belle Eaves Million; seven daughters, Mrs. John Haynes, Mrs. Eugene Haynes, Mrs. James brooks, Mrs. Clayton Brooks Jr., Mrs. Elmer Merryman and Mrs. Stanley Fantley Gilkison, all of Lexington, and Mrs. Wayne Kelley, Owenton; three sons, William and Harold Million, Mercer County, and Douglas Million, Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Willie Sparks, Mrs. Kenneth Maddox and Mrs. Russell Maddox, Fleming County; a brother, James Million, Fleming County, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lindsey Shackleford, Harrodsburg; Mrs. Lewis Philpot, Paris, and Mrs. Robert Brown, Lexington; two stepsons, Stanley and Leslie Wiley, Lexington; 40 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Ethel Gardner Million, 56, wife of Ernest M. Million, died at noon yesterday at her home on the Armstrong Mill road after an illness of several months.
    She was born July 21, 1892, in Fleming county, and was a daughter of the late Charley and Nannie Wallingford Gardner, She had been a resident of Lexington and Fayette county for 25 years, and was a member of the South Elkhorn Baptist church.
    Besides her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. John Haynes, Mrs. Eugene Haynes, Mrs. James Brooks, Mrs. Clayton Brooks and Miss Beulah Million, Fayette county, and Mrs. Fantley Gilkison and Mrs. Elmer Merryman, Woodford county; three sons, William Million, Mercer county, and Douglas and Harold Million, Fayette county; a sister, Mrs. Garcie Wikoff, Fayette county; two brothers, Thomas and Smith Gardner, Fleming county, and 27 grandchildren.
    The body was removed to Kerr Brothers funeral home and later returned to the residence.
    Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the South Elkhorn Baptist church, the Rev. Louis W. Arnold and the Rev. Henry Downing officiating. Burial will be in the Versailles cemetery. Casket bearers will be nephews of Mrs. Million.

A native of rowan county, he was a son of the late James Lake and Almair Gilkison Million and was a member of the Wallingford Methodist church.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Kirk Million; four daughters, Mrs. W.T. Sparks, Flemingsburg; Mrs. Paul Carpenter and Mrs. Russell Maddox, both of Fleming county, and Mrs. Kenneth Maddox, Covington; three sons, Ernest Million, Lexington; Aubrey Million, Fleming county, and James Million of Laurens, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Grover Bishop, Lexington; Mrs. Thomas Kirk, Cincinnati, and Mrs. William Kirk, Lexington; 43 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.
