    She is survived by two sisters, Bessie Wadlow and Lois Buanita Hedges, both of Wilmington; and two grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.

    Nellie is in the 1930 living with her daughter Bessie and Bessie's husband Stanley Wadlow. She listed as married, but there is no record for her husband James.

    Nellie is in the 1940 census as head of household with er granddaughter Bernie Lee Hanck. She still listed as married. but there is no record for her husband James.

    Mrs. Nellie S. Brock, age 63, passed away yesterday at her home, 1204 Alton street.
    She is survived by her husband, James; four daughters, Zelma A. Barber, Buanita Hedges, Azile Cobb and Bessie Wadlow, all of Wilmington; a son, Arnold H. Brock, U.S. Army; three sisters, Hattie Smith, Perlie Jaggers and Bessie Russell, all of Wilmington; two brother, Billy Alkire of Wilmington, and Kenneth Alkire of Everett, Wash.
    With Cartwright Mortuary, 702 Broad avenue, in charge, funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o’clock at the Assembly of God Church, 1031 Fries avenue. Rev. Paul Boyer will officiate at the rite to be followed by burial in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery.

    Elijah A. Alkire, 1050 Broad avenue, died last night in a long Beach hospital. He was 87 years of age.
    He is survived by three daughters: Mmes. George M. Smith, Pearl Jaeggers and Frank Russell; two sons, William A. and Kenneth M. Alkire, of Everett, Wash.; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
    With Cartwright Mortuary, 702 Board avenue, in charge, funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Inglewood Park Cemetery.

    Mrs. Rosa Maria Alkire, 73, passed away yesterday morning at her home, 1035 Fried avenue. A resident of this city for eight years, she was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly.
    Survivors are her husband, Elijah; four daughters, Mesdames Hattie Smith, Nellie Broch, Pearl Jaeggers, Bessie Russell, all of Wilmington; two sons, Kenneth of Wilmington and William of Everett, Washington; a brother, J.R. Hedges of Vici, Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
    All of the family was united last September 19 when Mr. and Mrs. Alkire celebrated their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary.
    Funeral services will be announced later by Woods’ Mortuary.
