Notes - Mathews – Mrs. Gertrude Mathews, 80, died today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bunice O’Neil, in Kearney. She was born in Clinton County, Missouri, and had lived in Kearney since 1906. She was a member of the Methodist church. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah lodge. She also leaves a son, Oran Mathews, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Hall, both of Kearney. Funeral services will be at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday at the Kearney Methodist church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery in Kearney.
