      Mount Summit, Ind. – Mary O. Moody, 81, Mount Summit, died unexpectedly Friday in Henry County Memorial Hospital, New Castle.
      Born in Rowan County, Ky., she was a member of Mount Summit Christian Church, Harvesters Sunday School Class, McGiddon Club, Henry County Hospital Guild, Mount Summit Women’s Club and member and president of Christian Women’s Fellowship.
      Surviving are her husband, J. Ernest; three daughters, Edith (Mrs. Ted) Moore, Morehead, Ky., Grave (Mrs. Sam) Thompson, Sebring, Fla., and Vada (Mrs. Marvin) Collins, Mount Summit; a sister, Olive Lindamood, Miamisburg, Ohio; a brother, Emmitt Atchison, New Castle, 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
      Three sons, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
      Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Main & Frame Blue River Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ed Clark and Rev. Richard Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Mount Summit Cemetery.
      Calling hours are 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
      The Star Press, Muncie, Indiana. Sunday, 10 March 1985.
