Notes - Benjamin E. Harris
Benjamin E. Harris, 86, Birmingham in Clay County, died today at a nursing home at 5234 Munger, North. He was born in Milan, Mo., and lived in the Kansas City area 15 years. Mr. Harris was a retired farmer. He leaves three sons, Earl B. Harris, 7010 Kranz road, Gladstone, Keith B. Harris, 6604 Edison, North, and Duane Harris, 20909 East Fifteenth, Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Velma E. Whitaker, 7107 Kranz road, Gladstone, and Mrs. Beulah H. Moore, Liberty; two brothers, C.L. Harris, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and John P. Harris, Greenfield, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Glidewell, Carbon Cliff, Ill.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 o’clock Saturday at the Pasley chapel, Liberty, and at 2:30 o’clock Sunday at the New Garden Baptist church, Brookfield, Mo.; burial in the New Garden cemetery, Brookfield.
