- Roberts, Kathleen Jo Collins
Age 71, of Hamilton, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on December 20, 2004, at Mercy Hospital – Fairfield. Kathy was born on March 14, 1933, in Hamilton, a daughter of her parents, Paul and Ethel (Cook) Collins. She graduated from Hamilton High School as well as Fort Wayne Bible College. Kathy also completed a Master’s Degree at Miami University, Oxford. She was a teach at Ross Senior High School Greenhills High School, Winton Woods High School, and Miami University. She was a board member of Ross Local Schools. She was married to William F. Roberts on August 27, 1955. Kathy is survived by her husband, Bill; four children: Rochelle McCollom, William Paul Roberts, Dan (Angie) Roberts, and Doug (Dorothy) Roberts; eight grandchildren, Nick McCollom, Candice (Jim) Mangus, Tara Roberts, Tylor, Kara, and Trevor Roberts, and Collin and Ian Roberts; and one sisters, Anne (Bill) Evans. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colligan Funeral Home, 437 So. 3rd Street, Hamilton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at or mailed to any 5th/3rd Bank location in the name of Kathleen Collins Roberts Scholarship Fund, for the benefit of Winton Woods High School Students.
