      Lt.Cmdr
      United States Navy, Retired.
      Enlisted in 1912 and retired in 1945.
      During World War I, he was supply officer at the Navy Yard and afterwards was supply and accounting officer at the Naval Research Laboratory and the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Md.
      Leaving military service briefly in the 1930s,he worked as purchasing agent for the Montgomery County Board of Education.
      Married Josephine Fink.
      Buried with full military honors.
