      Lambert B. "L.B." Moody, 62, passed away December 17, 1993 in a local hospital after a long illness. He was born on September 3, 1931 to Harvey E. and Blanche H. Moody, Sr. in Wilmore, KY. He served with the U.S. Air Force for 24 years. He was involved in air defense until his retirement in 1974. L.B. was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh and Harvey E. Moody, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ella Moody, Corpus Christi, TX; a daughter, Debbie M. (Kurt) Busch, Corpus Christi; a son, Steve Moody, Corpus Christi; a granddaughter, Kristi Busch, Corpus Christi; two brothers, Rev. William (Anne) Moody, Huntington, IN and George H. (Jenny) Moody, Nicholasville, KY; two sisters, Thelma (Carl) Bradshaw, Lexington, KY and Stella (R.L.) Sweeney, Lake Jackson, TX; a sister-in-law, Det Moody, Wilmore, KY; and a special family friend, Mayvic Luby, Corpus Christi. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 20, 1993 at the Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Downtown Chapel with Rev. Karen Boehk and Rev. Doug Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Seaside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of the Texas Coastal Bend, P.O. Box 9172, Corpus Christi, TX 78469.
