    • GEORGENIA "DEENA" BERNICE BALDAU HOUSH, 79 of Houston, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Deena was born in Houston to Frieda Margaretha Nitch and George Constantine Baldau. She graduated from Cy-Fair High in 1947 and Jefferson Davis School of Nursing in 1951. Deena loved nursing and continued volunteering at Memorial Hermann Northwest after her retirement where she was known as the "cookie lady". She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking which she shared with others. She is survived by two daughters, Gina Housh and Laurie Housh Gardner and husband Rick Gardner and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will greet friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Klein Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Klein Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Perry Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Perry Cemetery or Salem Lutheran Church 22601 Lutheran Church Rd., Tomball, TX.
