      Monty Thomas Love Sr., 53, of 7420 N. Wyandotte, Gladstone, secretary-treasurer of Boyle Meat Co. Inc. and president of Progressive accounting Inc., died Thursday at Research Medical Center.
      Mr. Love had worked for the Boyle Meat Co. 28 years and had been secretary-treasurer more than 20 years. He also was secretary-treasurer of the Heart of American Meat Dealer Association.
      H was a member of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
      He was born in Casa Grande, Ariz., and had lived in this area about 33 years. He graduated from Rockhurst College. He was a member of the Gladstone Church of Christ, where he had formerly served as a deacon and as church treasurer.
      He leaves his wife, Mrs. Essie Maye Love of the home; a son, Monty T. Love Jr., Kansas City; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Anne Naylor, Excelsor Springs, and Miss Glenna Diane Love, Gladstone; two stepsons, Duane Oertwig, Linneus, Mo., and Robert Oertwig, Gladstone; a brother, Joseph Love, Chandler, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Vaughn, Superior, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.
      Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Newcomer White Chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the church.
