    • Mrs. Vera Firebaugh
      Medaryville, March 21 - Mrs. Vera Mae (Manning) Firebaugh, 51, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Lashbrook, Rensselaer. Early in the morning at her home here, she felt ill and summoned the daughter who took her to Rensselaer where she died.
      Born here, she spent her life in this community, being employed at the time of her death at the Winamac Garment factory and earlier at the Medaryville Garment factory. She was married in 1919 to Lee Firebaugh. He died in 1945. She was a member of the Medaryville Christian church.
      Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lashbrook at whose home she died, and Mrs. M.W. Hegwood, Wayne, Mich.; one son, John of Medaryville; three sisters, Mrs. George Hautes, Monon, Mrs. Alvin Ramey, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Trevor Coburn, Medaryville; and two brothers, Ralph and Robert Mannin, Medaryville.
