Claude E. Ellington, 62
Claude E. Ellington, 62, 2405 E. Riggin Road, died Wednesday morning in Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rowan County, Ky., grew up there, and came to Muncie in 1973.
Mr. Ellington served in the Air Force for 20 years including the Korean and Vietnam wars and, since coming to Muncie, had been employed by Ball State University.
He was a member of American Legion Post 19, Moose Lodge 33, and Eagles Lodge 231.
Surviving are his wife, Anita Reffett Ellington; a brother, Chester Ellington, Morehead, Ky.; two sisters, June Williams of California, and Deloris Sebastian, Lexington, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are pending at Meeks Mortuary.

ELLINGTON Dolores M, 74, passed away on Wed, Mar 18 at her home in Lexington. She was born on Mar 12, 1935 in Rowan County, KY, a daughter of the late Fred and Tina Ward Ellington.
Ms. Ellington was retired from G.T.E. as an assignment clerk. She was a member of the CWA Union and was an avid country music and UK Wildcat fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Fugate, one sister, Flossie June Williams and five brothers, Orville, Claude, Chester, Ledford and Hansford Ellington.
Survivors include one son, Terrell Fugate and his wife, Sue of Frankfort, two granddaughters, Jaime Wagoner and Kimberly Fugate, one great-granddaughter, Cierra Wagoner and daughter-in-law, Anita Fugate all of Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm Sat, Mar 21, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Chaplain Diane Munoz and Rev. Don Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellington Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-9 pm Fri. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
