    Carbondale – Mary Elizabeth Bagley, 94, of Carbondale, formerly of Nokomis died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Stielh-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
    She was a teacher.
    She was born April 10, 1911, in Purdin, Mo., to Lilburn Price Gilmer and Lola Street.
    She married M.W. “Wayne” Bagley in Purdin. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1974.
    Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Peggy Bagley of Carbondale, seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
    She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bertie Schweizer on Sept. 28, 1973 and her brother, Price “Bud” Gilmer.
