- Mrs. Gloria Lay
Mrs. Gloria Lay, 41, of 414 1/2 S. 12th St., New Castle, a former Anderson resident, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at her home.
Her husband, Lloyd Lay, died in 1963, and since then she had resided in New Castle, where she was employed as a telephone solicitor for Olin and Mills Studio. She was a native of Bath County, Ky., born March 13, 1925, a daughter of Wallace and Lottie B. Wright.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sue Davidson and Miss Teresa Lay of New Castle; her parents, now of Spiceland; a sister, Mrs. Maxine White of New Castle; two brothers, Glen and John Wright, also of New Castle; and two grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the Macer Funeral Home where final rites will be conducted this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. R.E. Pavy. Interment will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery at Pendleton.
