    • E.C. Firebaugh and sister, Mrs. Ora L. Canaday, were called to Mt. Vernon on Sunday night by the serious illness of their mother, Mrs. Lucinda Firebaugh.

    • E.C. Firebaugh was called Tuesday evening to Mount Vernon by a message saying that his mother, Mrs. Lucinda Firebaugh, was to undergo a surgical operation. Mr. Firebaugh has not returned, but word from there states that Mrs. Firebaugh stood the operation well. Mrs. O.L. Canaday, a daughter, has been in Mount Vernon the past two weeks.

      Mt. Vernon, Ill. Jan. 15. – Mrs. Lucinda Firebaugh, 66 years old died at her home, 401 South Seventeenth street, last night. She was born in Winchester, Ind., March 13, 1849. She was married to Thomas Firebaugh in 1867, who died ten years ago. Nine children survive.
