      1913-2002
      Emmitt T. Maynard, 88, of Georgetown, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at the Hartland of Hillsboro.
      He was born Feb. 25, 1913, in Lewis County, Ky., the son of the late Elmer Maynard and Emma Bramble Maynard.
      He was a farmer and a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ.
      He is survived by his wife; Beulah Gilkerson Maynard; one son, Charles Maynard and his wife Linda, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren; one step grandchild; six great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Maynard, of Ripley; and Carl Maynard, of Maysville, Ky.; and one sister, Violet Maynard, of Maysville.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, at the Cahall Funeral Home, 204 W. State St., Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Kevin Whitsett and Rev. Scott Hennig will officiate.
      Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
      Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown.
      Memorials may be sent to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
