    • Robert Stephens
      Robert Lee Stephens, 74, of 2109 Oscar St., died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 19, 1987, at his home.
      Born at Mirable, Mo., he had spent most of his life in St. Joseph. He was a retired employee of Swift and Co. in St. Joseph.
      Surviving are his wife, Lucille Stephens, of the home; two daughters, Sue Tillman and Linda Wilson, both of St. Joseph; four sisters, Mildred Stone, Flint, Mich., Vera Miller, Hannibal, Mo., Maxine Fulk, Weatherby, Mo., and Edan Wilson, Altamont, Mo.; two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
      The body is at the Hope funeral home, Gallatin, Mo., where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Mount Ayre Cemetery, Altamont.
      The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
