    • Walkinshaw - Laura Maude Walkinshaw of 30 West 19th Avenue, died in Salem, September 19, 1966. She was born January 9, 1980 in Clay Center, Kansas. She taught school in Kansas, and was united in married to Samuel A. Walkinshaw on April 19, 1905. The family moved to Oregon in 1911, and lived at Yoncalls, Oregon until 1920 when they moved to Eugene, where she had resided most of the time since. She was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church, and had always been active in church and community activities. her husband and son preceded her in death. She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Gordon Bens of San Diego; two grand-children, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Robert W. Davis, and Mrs. Carl Ward of Eugene, Clarence Chestnut of Grants Pass, and Elmer Chestnut of Tacoma, Washington; also many nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 1956, at 10:30 a.m. in Simon-Lounsbury Mortuary. Rev. Milton Gardner will officiate. Interment in Rest-Haven Cemetery.
