He leaves his beloved wife of 32 yrs Mable E. Carter. Loving brother to Ruth Phelan, Evert Harden and Bill Harden. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. A lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4647 North Highlands and Maintenance of Southern Pacific. Preceded in death by mother May Harden, father Frank Carter, stepfather, Charles Harden and brother John Carter. The family invites you to attend visitation 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 15, 1998 and funeral service at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 16, 1998 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., Ca, 933-5822. Interment to follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
