Evelyn M. Mickey, 95, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Heather Manor of natural causes. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 6 at Glendale Cemetery.
Evelyn was born in Clearfield, IA. She had lived in Chicago for 37 years and then moved to Des Moines in 1973. She was a bookkeeper for Washington National Insurance Company before retiring in 1962. She is survived by two nieces, Phyllis Horton of Windsor Heights and Betty McLaughlin of Knoxville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa. Westover Iles Funeral Home.
