    • James Henry Parker Passes Over Beyond
James Henry Parker, for 41 years a resident of Los Angeles, passed away last night at his home, 1681 Kingsley drive, after an illness of a week. Mrs. Parker, who was 60 years of age, is survived by a widow, a son, Emil V. Parker, and a daughter, Mrs. Florence P. Blosser.
In 1872 Parker, accompanied by three brothers, F.M. Parker, P.H. Parker and Dr. W.C. Parker, all of whom survive him, came to Los Angeles.
Soon after his arrival in Los Angeles he became connected with the old Los Angeles Street Railway company, driving one of the horse-cars on the old line running from the Temple block to Boyle heights. Parker afterwards joined the T. Vache company and was active in the work of the company up to within 10 days of the time of his death.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
Los Angeles Evening Express, Los Angeles, California. Tuesday, 11 February 1913.
