- Dr. L.V. Casey

Dallas – Dr. L.V. Casey, 73, died Saturday.
He was born in Boise, Idaho, and lived in Hood River. He graduated from Willamette University and from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1950. He moved to Dallas in 1950 and established his practice there.
A lieutenant colonel and a B-29 pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II, he received two distinguished flying crosses. He enjoyed ocean and white water boating.
Survivors include his wife, Marian; son, John of Dallas; and daughters, Karen Carroll of Capistrano Beach, Calif., and Julie Casey Teal of Salem.
Visiting hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas mortuary. Service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the mortuary chapel. Interment will be private.
Contributions may be made to the Mid-Willamette Valley Hospice in care of the mortuary.
