Valhalla Cemetery dates from 1912; Public Mausoleum from 1917 (designed by Sidney Lovell, architect); Valhalla Chapel of Memories (designed by Walter Manske, architect), late 1950s. Distinctive Chinese section dating from the 1920s, with ornate Oriental-themed monuments. Cemetery Office Hours daily; Mausoleum and Columbarium office hours Monday through Friday.
NOTE: This is not the same as (Valhalla) Hillcrest Abbey Crematory and Mausoleum.
In 1911, Forest Hill Cemetery was acquired by neighboring Valhalla Cemetery. Forest Hill Section 1 and Forest Hill Section 2 within Valhalla Cemetery refer to the original plat of Forest Hill Cemetery.
