    Notes:

    Mrs. Mollie Anderson, 89, Eliza, died Saturday at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo. Services were held this afternoon at New Boston United Methodist Church. Burial was in Eliza Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.

    Mollie Noble married Dan Anderson in 1911 in New Boston. The couple farmed in Eliza Twp. He died in 1970. She was a member of New Boston United Methodist Church and Women's Association, Rose Croix Shrine, Muscatine, and was a 50-year member of the New Boston Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 204. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Merle Ball and Mrs. Lytle Lambert, both of Eliza, and Mrs. Everett Welch, Aledo; nine grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ella McNeal, Muscatine, and brothers, Craig Noble, Andalusia, Don Noble, Illinois City and Lee Noble, Moline.

    New Boston Farmer succumbs at Aledo Hospital: Rite Indefinite.

    New Boston – a five years illness with heart trouble proved fatal to George Noble, 71, well known local farmer, death occurring at 11 p.m. Wednesday at an Aledo hospital. He had been in the hospital for four weeks.
    Mr. Noble, the son of Jpnathan and Harriet Noble, was born Dec. 11, 1864, at Eliza, Ill. He married Effie Sheasley on Sept. 20, 1887.
    Surviving are his wife, several children, Mrs. Mollie Anderson of New Boston, Mrs. Ella McNeal of Muscatine, Mrs. Cassie Bauguess of New Boston, Mrs. Opal Sloan of New Boston, Omer Noble of Keithsburg, Ill., Lee of Davenport, and John and Craig of New Boston. Twenty-four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and one sister, Omer, Henry and Cora Noble, all of Eliza, also survive.
    The funeral arrangements are incomplete. Burial will be in Eliza Creek cemetery.

    New Boston, Ill. – Mrs. Effie C. Noble, 91, New Boston, died at 4 a.m. Thursday at Mercer county hospital, Aledo, Ill., after an extended illness.
    A resident of Mercer county most of her life, she was born in Michigan June 28, 1870, daughter of John H. and Mary Thompson Chesley. She married George Noble Jr. on Sept. 20, 1887, at Eliza, Ill.
    Survivors inc;ude four sons, Omar of Keithsburg, Ill,; Lee of Moline, Ill.; John of Illinois City, Ill.; and Craig of Andalusia; three daughters, Mrs. Dan Anderson of Eliza, Ill; Mrs. Amos McNeal of Muscatine; and Mrs. Cassie Bauguss of New Boston, Ill.; 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter.
    Funeral services are pending at Olin funeral home, New Boston.
