    • Russell H. Wunnengerg, 76, 2217 Isabella Ave., died Friday, May 4, 1990, on property on rural Plank Road.

      Born March 17, 1914, in Kingston, he was the son of Otto H. and Anna M. Steffener Wunnenberg. He married Myrtle Wiegard Feb 6, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo.

      He was a retired machine operator at General Electric Co., Burlington. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was of the Baptist faith.

      Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Samples, Jackson Hole, Myo.; three brothers, Arthur Wunnenberg and Leo Wunnenberg, both of Mediapolis, and Harry Wunnenberg, Burlington; six sisters, Bertha Schenk, West Burlington, Lillian Rieter, Mediapolis, Hilda Nyberg, Temple, Texas, Lucille Bonar, Yarmouth, Dorothy Chamberlain, Lynnwood, Wash, and Shirley Taylor, Burlington, and several nieces and nephews.

      Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Prugh's Chapel.

      The service for Mr. Wunnenberg will be at 2 P.. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel, The body will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Loper Cemetery, Sperry.
