    • Edward H. Schuler, 81, resident of Sperry, died Thursday at 8:50 p.m. at Klein hospital. He was born Apr. 22, 1884 in Des Moines county, the son of Joseph and Mary Meyers Schuler.
      He married Etta Walker in 1910. She died in 1918 and he married Ruth Thompson Murphy in 1920. He was a member of the Kingston Methodist church.
      Surviving are: His wife of Sperry; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Sperfslage and Mrs. Wilma Wunnenberg, Burlington nd Dorothy Reeb, Sperry; a son, Joseph, Wever, and a step son, Robert Murphy, Burlington, a sister Miss Harriett Sprauge, Bellwood, Ill. seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
      Services: Sunday, 2 p.m, Fry chapel, Mediapolis; Memorial Park, Burlington.
