    • Charles Albert Poisel
      Born Feb. 24, 1938, in Burlington, he was the son of Albert Joe and Viola L. Malchow Poisel.
      Mr. Poisel was a graduate of Burlington High School. He served in the Iowa Army National Guard from 1955 through 1964. He was a commercial fisherman and in more recent years operated Charlie's Custom Sawing.
      He loved to fish the Mississippi River. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting, bowling, and was a fan of car races.
      Survivors include one daughter, Janese Brown of Kearney, Mo., and two grandchildren.
      Visitation will begin after noon Tuesday at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
      The funeral for Mr. Poisel will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Mediapolis with the Rev. John Gaulke officiating. The body will be cremated.
      A memorial has been established for the Hawkeye Dolbee Public Access Landing.
