Fred Sielerman came to the US from Prussia in 1857 on the sailing vessel, Achilles. On the same ship was Anna Maria Sophia Dreckmeier who married Fred Sielerman on Feb 5, 1859. They were the parents of 12 children, 5 surviving to adulthood, Anna Sielerman Wunnenberg, Fred Sielerman Jr, Mary Sielerman Wischmeier, Carrie Sielerman and John Sielerman.
Fred Sielerman was a farmer near Sperry and was killed by a train while herding his cows.
