      Wapello, Iowa – Services for Orval M. Schmeiser, 90, of Wapello, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Frist Presbyterian Church, Wapello. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery.
      Visitation is 6-8:30 p.m. today at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello.
      Mr. Schmeiser died Monday, June 29, 1998, at Wapello Nursing and Care Center.
      He had farmed the family farm.
      He was born Feb. 26, 1908, near Wapello. He married Crystalle Dasher in 1939 at Casey.
      Memorial may be made to the church.
      Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ruth Lillie, Iowa Falls, and Barbara Schmeiser, Malibu, Calif.; a son, Donald, Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
