    • Rebecca M. Rue
      Defiance – Rebecca M. Rue, 98, of here, formerly of Continental, died 1:15 p.m. Saturday at Defiance Hospital.
      Mrs. Rue was born Jan. 5, 1890, in Palmer Township, Putnam County, the daughter of Henry and Mary Weller Morris. On July 30, 1922, she married Robert A. Rue, who died April 5, 1950.
      A homemaker, Mrs. Rue was a member of Ash Grove Old German Baptist Church in Lima.
      Survivors include two sons, George Rue of Wauseon and Morris Rue of Continental; one daughter, Mrs. George (Mary) Bock of Defiance; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Morris of Defiance; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burden of Defiance and Mrs. Martha Mayes of Continental.
      Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ash Grove Old German Baptist Church, Lima, a home brethren officiating. Burial will be in North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental.
      Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Snyder Funeral Home, Continental.
