Notes - Mary M. Thompson
Continental – Mrs. Mary M. Thompson, 76, 203 S. Sixth St., died at 10 a.m. Sunday in her residence of a heart attack.
Born Aug. 20, 1896 in North Creek, she was a daughter of John and Ella (Rangeler) Schafer. She married Ray Thompson on March 12, 1923 and he survives. She was a member of the Continental American Legion Auxiliary, the Ideal Times Club, Topaz Circle and Christ United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Josephine) Hill, Bryan; Mrs. Sarah Jane Baldwin, Ayersville, and Mrs. Walter (Helen) Good, Continental; four brothers, William and Forest Schafer, Continental, and John and Carl Schafer, Toledo; a sister, Mrs. Tom (Ida) Krumm, Toledo, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Christ Church, Rev. Gary Reeves officiating, and burial will be in the North Creek Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Richardson Funeral Home are after 7 p.m. today and until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when the body will be taken to the church.
