Notes - Ray B. Thompson
Continental – Ray B. Thompson, 75, 203 S. Sixth St., died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after a brief illness.
He was retired from Clark Equipment Co., Lima. Born July 5, 1897 in Putnam county, he was a son of Charles and Gertrude (Dick) Thompson and married Mary M. Schafer on March 12, 1923. She died Feb 18, 1973.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Josephine) Hill, Bryan; Mrs. Walter (Helen) Good, Continental, and Mrs. Sarah Jane Baldwin, Ayersville; a brother, Emil G., Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn DeVel, Chicago; Mrs. Ellen Lanning, Oregon, and Mrs. Marvel Schafer, Toledo; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Six brothers are deceased.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home, Rev. Claude Chivington officiating, and burial will be in the North Creek Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
