    • Hazel M. Schafer
      Continental – Hazel M. Schafer, 84, of here, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday at Defiance Hospital.
      Mrs. Schafer was born Nov. 26, 1905, in Paulding County, the daughter of Alva and Lillie May Pier Doster. On Feb. 27, 1922, she married Dallas W. Noffsinger. On Aug. 26, 1938, she married Clyde Schafer, who died Dec. 1, 1966.
      Mrs. Shafer was a cook for the Continental School, retiring in 1970. She attended Christ United Methodist Church of Continental and was a member of Continental Senior Citizens.
      Survivovrs include one son, Dallas Noffsinger of Continental; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Russell Doster of Defiance.
      Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Snyder Funeral Home, Continental, Rev. Wendell Stutler officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.
      Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
      Memorial contributions may be made to Continental EMS.
