    • Lavina Eck
      Pandora – Mrs. Lavina Eck, 69, a former Pandora resident, died 1:15 p.m. Tuesday of a heart attack in Fostoria City Hospital.
      Born in Continental April 24, 1902, she was the daughter of William and Luta Pilcher Shaffer. She was married in 1922 to George Eck and he died in 1949.
      Surviving are a son, Harlan of Vanderbilt, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Richard Otto of Ada, Mrs. Roger Swartz of Bascom and Mrs. Jack Vitte of Fostoria; four sisters, Mrs. Harrison Conway of Findlay, Mrs. Vincent Habegger of Rawson, Mrs. Carrie Winover of Convay and Mrs. Carroll Harris of Toledo; two brothers, Glen of Ada and Eldon of Mount Cory; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
      Services will be 2 p.m Friday in Haas Funeral Home, Rev. Clyde Alberton officiating. Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
