Notes - Mount Cory Man Dies in Wyoming on Hunting Trip
Findlay, O. – While on a deer hunting trip to the mountains near Dixon, Wyo., Charles William Schafer, 35, Route 1, Mount Cory, farmer, suffered a heart attack. He died Thursday morning. He was taken from the mountains to the hospital at Dixon and was pronounced dead.
Mr. Schafer served in the Marine Corps, and was a member of the Mount Cory K. of P., the Farm Bureau board of directors, and the trinity EUB church.
Surviving are his widow, Lois, and five sons and a daughter, all at home; Mark, Dick, Jack, Scott and Todd Schafer and Mary Ann Schafer.
Friends will be received at the Miles Funeral Home on Sunday. Funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Dick Powell officiating. Burial will be in Clymer cemetery.
