Mildred M. Schafer, 88, of Fort Myers died September 14, 2009. Mildred was born February 17, 1921 in Continental, Ohio and is survived by her loving children, Jack, Larry, Patricia, Carol, Elaine, Diana, Sandi and Kim. Two sister, Ruthanna Schubert, Nondys Sheaks, 1 brother, Donald Beemer, 39 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Vincent, her parents, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 18 at 11:00 AM at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Lee Memorial Park 334-4880
