Notes - Obituary: Mrs. H.E. Weller Died Sunday At Silver Lake
Mrs. H.E. Weller of Silver Lake died Sunday evening at 5:15 following an illness of about two years. She was sixty-four years old. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at the West Manchester church. Rev. Kreider will be in charge. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill.
She was born in Ohio on August 22, 1876 to William and Mary Morris Schaffer. She was married on March 7, 1897 to Harve E. Weller, the wedding taking place at North Creek, Ohio. They moved to the Silver Lake neighborhood from Ohio about twenty-six years ago. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren for forty-six years.
The following children survive, Mrs. Orpha Ballenger of North Manchester, Mrs. Laverda Badman of Silver Lake, and Prof. Forest Weller of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Two infant sons preceded her in death. She was a member of a large family of which six brothers and three sisters survive.
