Notes - Paul R. Brecht
Continental – Paul R. Brecht, 68, of here, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday at his home.
Mr. Brecht was born Sept. 22, 1920, in Miller City, the son of John and Eva Schaffer Brecht. On March 29, 1941, he married Doris Johnson, who survives.
Mr. Brecht retired in 1982 from defiance Precision Products machine shop. He was a member of Free Christian Church of God in Continental and Continental Masonic Lodge 570.
Survivors also include four sons, John Brecht and Kenneth Brecht, both of Continental, Dennis Brecht and Bill Brecht, both of North Creek; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, John Brecht of Decatur, Ind.; and two sisters, Mrs. Maurice (Vivian) Walther of Silver Lake, Ind., and Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Freeman of North Manchester, Ind.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Free Christian Church of God, Continental, Rev. James Fry officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.
