    • Mrs. Edna May Morris, 77, widow of David L. Morris, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her son, Dale, of R. R. 2, Greenville, following an 18-month illness. Mrs. Morris, a native of Miami county, resided for over 60 years, on a farm two miles south of Gettysburg, on R. R. 2, Greenville. She had made her home with her son for the past six and a half months. Mrs. Morris belonged to the Beach Congregational Christian church. Her husband died Aug. 24, 1955. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Greer, of R. R. 2, Greenville and Mrs. Byron Young, of R. R. 3, Union City; seven sons, Dale and Charles, both of R. R. 2, Greenville, Clarence and John, both of R. R. 2, Arcanum, Herschel, of R. R. 2, Covington, Verl, of Dayton and Carl, of Gordon; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Eberwine, of New Madison, Mrs. Grace Pierson, of R. R. 2, Covington and Mrs. Hettie Myer, of Howards, N. Y. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Miller funeral home with the Rev. Emmert Osborne and the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery, Covington. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
