Notes - Margarette Hempleman Stites
Margarette Hempleman, born April 15, 1813, near South Charleston, Ohio, died June 16, 1873.
Margarette Hempleman married Ben Stites. To them was born one child, named George. He died at Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1905. After the death of [Ben] Stites, she married Henry J. Sulser, November 18, 1837, and moved to Illinois in 1839 and lived on a farm near Tamaroe, and engaged in farming and raising of cattle. H. J. Sulser died November 21, 1891. To them were born five children: Henry, Pernicia, Leander, Daniel and Mary Ann.
