    • Cynthia Hempleman Miller
      Cynthia Hempleman Miller was born January 25, 1819 near South Charleston, Ohio and went to live with her sister, Nancy Briggs, in Allen County, Ohio, and there met and married Silas Miller, October 12, 1837. She died May 6, 1875.
      Silas Miller, born February 14, 1814, died November 8, 1898.
      After their marriage they moved on to a farm in Allen County, Ohio, and there lived until they both died.
      Cynthia Hempleman Miller was a true Christian woman, a true wife and a loving mother. It was her greatest desire to be good to every one. She reared her family in such a manner that all loved her. To them were born ten children: Daniel H., George, Martha, and Margarette, all died in infancy; Henry C., Mary E. Lydia, Clark, Harvey H., and Cynthia S., living to man and womanhood.
