    • Perry L. Mansfield
      Leipsic – Perry L. Mansfield, 88, formerly of Route 2, Leipsic, died Thursday morning in the Putnam County Nursing Home after an extended illness.
      He was born in Defiance County on July 8, 1888 to Scott and Nancy (Edwards) Mansfield and married Sarah Frizzell in 1911. She died in 1936. He was a former bricklayer and a retired distributor for Meadow Gold Dairy.
      Surviving are three sons, Perry Jr., Holgate; Robert, Leipsic, and Howard, Deshler; three daughters, Mrs. Carolus (Edna) Ellerbrock, Findlay; Mrs. Emery (Mabel) Groney, Toledo, and Mrs. Jerry (Norma Jean) Delmont, Carlsbad, Calif.; a brother, Peter, Lakeland, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
      Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Bliss-Peoples Funeral Home, Rev. Richard Pettibone officiating, and burial will be in Hill Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
