    • Mrs. Lydia Margaret Mason, 78, wife of Irvin H. Mason, 1815 Slabtown Road, died at 11:40 p.m. Friday in St. Rita's Hospital after an illness of 10 days.

      A native of near Columbus Grove, she was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist.

      Surviving are four daughters, Vera, at home, Edith, Columbus, Mrs. Arthur Schaaf, Route 5, and Mrs. Herman Swonguer, Wapakoneta; a son, Russell J., Columbus; two brothers, Ira C. Slusser, Defiance, and Morris Slusser, 721 S. Metcalf St.

      The body will remain in the Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, for services at 2 p.m. Monday. Richard Riggs, Christian Science reader, will officiate and burial will be in Blue Lick Cemetery.
