    • Charles' obituary in the 22 Feb 1943 Urbana Daily Citizen states he died at the home of his niece, Mrs. E. P. Schindewolf. It mentions he had lived with his sister, Mrs. L. W. Sharp for 15 years but that she was ill and thus he moved into his niece's home. The obituary includes: "He is survived by two sons, Raymond and Otis, both of New Hampshire; his sister, and three brothers, Vernon and John Knotts, Belle Center, and his twin, William Knotts, of Harrod. O." [1]
