      George H. Blossom, 72, of 5525 Cresthaven Lane, died today in Elizabeth Scott Memorial Care Center.

      A former deputy clerk in the local federal District Court, he at one time owned the Blossom Insurance Agency, and a theater in Ottawa, O., retiring in 1971. He was a past pilot of the Compass Club.

      Surviving are his wife, Frieda; sons, Dr. G. Barton Blossom, and Lowell A. Blossom, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Schomaeker (sic).

      Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Ansberg-West Mortuary, where the body will be after 7 p.m. Saturday. The family requests that any contributions be in the form of contributions to Epworth United Methodist Church memorial fund or the Parkview Hospital research fund. [1]
