  • Notes
    • Mr. Myers spent several summers previous to his marriage in Illinois. From this time until August, 1886, he lived at the old Myers homestead near Jersey Shore. Since then he has resided on his farm nearly a mile south of Antes Fort. He is a man of intelligence, and from him the author has obtained this information of his father's family. Although a Republican, politically, and living in a district (Nippenose) that is overwhelmingly Democratic, he has filled nearly all the township offices. At present (1894) he is serving his fifth term as school director, and is the Secretary of the school board of Nippenose township. Mrs. Myers is a member of the Lutheran Church. [1]
