Notes - John George Morr was the older of the two sons of Andrew Morr. He was born August 3, 1761; died October 18, 1817. He was young in years when the war of the Revolution began, and was among the first to show his patriotic ardor. In that period of our country's danger, he joined the army as a drummer boy, and went through the battle known as Chad's Ford along the Brandy wine, September 11, 1777. [1]
