Catherine was born in Berks County Pennsylvania. She first married George Hosterman who died when he was just 33 years old. She then married Henry Smull. Catherine & George had 4 children John K Hosterman, Sarah who died before her father, Amanda who married Samuel Wolfe & William who was a merchant and died in St. Louis. She had 6 children to Henry Smull. [2]
