Services Are Conducted For Billings Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Hedges, 51, Billings resident since 1943, were conducted Thursday at Settergren’s Chapel by the Rev. A.C. Caton, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Hedges, who lived at 114 S. 29th St., died of cancer Monday at a Billings hospital.
“The Lord Is My Shepherd” and “Now the Day is Over” were sung by Mrs. G.M. Herbstruth, accompanied by Mrs. Robert H. Leonard.
Pallbearers were Porter Corby, Jesse I. Duncan, Richard J. Duncan, Stanley G. Duncan, Walter A. Duncan, and H. Oscar Jordahl. Burial was in Mountainview Cemetery.
Mrs. Hedges is survived by her husband, Rollen Hedges; her father, two brothers and a sister.
